Hey guys!
Hope you guys are having a wonderful morning or evening! Anyways today I
will be doing a review and lip swatches of the ever so loved COLOURPOP
ULTRA MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK.
This was requested and even if it wasn't I would still do it cuz I want
to let you guys know about it from me personally.
Now there are a lot of mixed reviews for this. Some of them really love
it and some of them really hate it. For me, and my type of lips, I love it! It
stains my lips so even after I have eaten its still there on my lips as a stain.
Umm, Yes. More.
One thing, I have to say is it is very drying, like dried on your lips
in about 30 seconds or less. Now that is to be expected in a liquid lipstick,
however these are much more drying then most of the liquid lipstick I own.
Still, my lips are able to take liquid lipstick but if you have extremely dry
chapped lips, I would say stay away from any liquid lipstick in general or if
you still want to use it, do use a chapstick underneath to make sure it isn't
to drying for you.
Another thing, they come in 25 shades and they just recently release 8
more for the fall time. I will link down the website. I did buy 5 shades for
myself and funny story, I did a meetup with the seller I got from on Carousell
and I met up with her mom. She asked me " Oh you are buying this for your
sister and cousin's too" And I'm like " Nope, they are all for
me" The look she gave me was hilarious! She gave me the, is this girl
sick? HAHAHA! I mean 5 shades are really little, I would have honestly bought
10 but because of the mixed reviews I wanted to try 5 first!
Lets do a breakdown;)
Pros:
Comes in 33 shades (YAAAASSSS)
Stains the lips after eating( for me at least)
INEXPENSIVE( Biggest PRO am I right?!)
Cons:
Very drying
All in all I would give this an 8 out of 10. Now moving onto the
swatches of what I have;)
I got 5 shades as I said before. The shade from top
to bottom is TRAP, TULLE, MARS,AVENUE and LAX.
