Hey guys!
Wow! This week has been absolutely hectic for me! I had school from
Monday to Friday (obviously) and then Saturday I went to work and today I had
to do some visiting for people who passed away! So, lets just say I haven't had
enough rest for the week and I might be cranky throughout next week! HAHAA!
Anyways, how was your week guys? Hope it was a great one!
So today I will be talking about the MakeupGeek 9 eye shadow starter
kit. Makeupgeek was created by Marlena, a Youtuber and also the CEO of
Makeupgeek! She is a beautiful woman that makes amaaaazzziinnng eye shadows and
they honestly look beautiful and not to mention they are super blend-able and
easy to use! She recently came out with the duo chrome eye shadows which I am
itching to get my hands on but I want continue my collection first before
jumping in into their foiled eye shadow and then their duo chrome ones! I can't
afford to buy all at once because, firstly I am still schooling and I can only
work on Saturday's and sometimes I just need to rest and don't work for the
week which means I get less money soooo that cannot happen!
Going back to topic, I believe that this starter kit is amazing
especially for those who are just starting with MakeupGeek eye shadow because I
know it can get intimidating when you go to their website and look at so many
different eye shadow and just start screaming OMG WHICH ONE! Been there done
that, that's why I decided to start with their 9 starter kit! It comes with
warm tones and cool tones, an amazing brow bone highlight and a basic black eye
shadow! Err can I get a woop woop?!
Anyways, as it says in the title it comes with 9 eyeshadows;
- Shimma
Shimma -> Shimmery Highlight
- Creme Brulee ->Medium sand colour with a soft
matte finish
- Cocoa Bear -> Matte golden brown
-Glamorous -> Bronzy, shimmery gold
- Unexpected -> Light and subtle pink matte
purple blend
- Prom Night -> Pale purple with hints of grey
and shimmery finish
- Mocha -> Matte warm medium brown
-Drama Queen -> Densely dark purple with a
shimmery finish
- Corrupt -> Intense matte black
I love all of them and they look so beautiful!
From top to bottom; Shimma Shimma, Creme Brulee,
Glamorous, Cocoa Bear, Unexpected, Prom Night, Mocha, Drama Queen, Corrupt
My swatches don't look so good on camera but I am investing in one soon!
I'm gonna get the Sony A5100 and I can't wait to get it! They look extremely
beautiful on the eye and I have an eye look coming up soon using Makeup Geek
eyeshadows!
Pros:
Creamy
Wide shade selection
Affordable
Blend-able
Cons:
Takes quite a long time to reach out of US (about 2 weeks)
I got a carousel seller whom I only buy from and I 100% reccomend her
because she sells the cheapest in the market so far! Makeupgeek does ship
internationally but I don't have a credit card so I just ask her for help! I
will link down below the websites!
Anyways, I really hope you guys enjoyed this blog! Let me know what you
guys would like to see next! I was supposed to be uploading my eyebrow routine
today but I filmed it and it looked horrible and I will only upload what I
think looks beautiful and decent! Especially just using my Ipod! Anyways, hope
you have a great day or night wherever you are and I will see you guys in my
next week blog post! Love you <3 XOXO
